The American Gold Eagle is offered in 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 oz denominations with gurantee it contains the stated amount of actual gold weight in troy ounces.
Even though the face values are $5, $10, $25, and $50 respectively, The American Gold Eagle coins are sold at much higher price and usually correlated to the price of their gold content. The United States Mint also produces a proof version for coin collectors.
